Destination of Leavers Survey

Knowledge is power - that's why it is really useful to know what graduates of every programme at BU have gone on to do career wise.

Six months after you graduate, the Government insists you provide information on your employment status. It's called the Destination of Leavers Higher Education survey (DLHE).

All graduates must take part.

You can complete a postal questionnaire that will be sent to you in which there will also be details on how to complete the survey online.

If you don't reply, a BU member of staff will contact you.

If you want to find out more detail on the DLHE survey click the link 'About the DLHE survey'.

You can really help us to help you though.

We have to achieve at least an 80 per cent return rate set by the Government. It's a tough job - but you can make it easier for us.

This is what you need to do

  1. Provide us with up to date contact details before you leave BU. At that time, try to ensure these will be accurate for six months after graduation. If your contact details change, visit the log-in services section to update them.
  2. Respond to the survey when you are contacted, either by post or online
  3. As a last resort, if we have to phone you, please help us by providing the information we are required to ask for.

Confidentiality

All information is treated with the utmost confidentiality enforced by law and information in the public domain is only aggregate information and an individual can never be identified.

Here are more details about the survey.
