A degree is no longer a guarantee of a job.

In an increasingly competitive market, you need to stand out from the crowd and at BU we can help equip you with the necessary skills and experience to help you do that.

We can help with job hunting strategies and get you work placements. We will do all we can during your time here at BU to give you that competitive edge when you eventually go for that dream job.

BU also hosts a number of careers events on campus - bringing potential employers to you, giving you the chance to weigh up all the different career options.

We are a member of the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS) which means we have to meet a set of professional standards laid down by AGCAS.

We are also accredited by Matrix, a nationally recognised quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice and/or guidance.

Support after graduation

Did you know that you can access Placements & Careers for up to three years from graduating? You can make appointments to speak to a careers advisor about your options/CV and attend on campus events as often as you like!
