Dentist

Open to all students, the Bournemouth University dental practice is based in the town centre.

To receive free/limited cost treatment you will need to provide an HC2/HC3 certificate. To apply for a certificate you will need to complete an HC1 form (available from the dental practice or the Student Medical Centre on campus).

You will need to pay for dental treatment when you attend the practice unless you have a valid HC2/HC3.

You can use the free phone in the Student Union at Poole House, Talbot Campus, where the details of the practice are displayed.

Opening times

We are open 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The practice is closed for lunch from 1.00pm - 2.00pm every day.

If you would prefer to use an alternative dentist you can find your nearest NHS dentist by:

3. For urgent dental treatment, outside of usual dental surgery hours, call 0845 7010401.

Again you will need to provide a valid HC2/HC3 for free/limited cost treatment.
