Celebrate your achievement with BU at our annual awards ceremonies, hosted each November, where you can formally receive your award in the company of friends, family and fellow graduates.
Our Award Ceremonies are the highlight of the university year and are the culmination of all the hard work that our students have put into their studies.
Ceremonies are held at Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) and each event lasts approximately 2 hours but can obviously vary depending on how many people come along. You can find out the dates of our ceremonies here.
Invitations will be emailed to those eligible during the summer, so please make sure we have the right contact details for you and keep an eye on your inbox. To be eligible to attend our 2014 ceremonies you should have been given your award from BU by 26 September - this will be confirmed in your results letter.
Registration for our 2014 ceremonies is not open yet. Once you have received your email invitation in the summer you will need to register to receive your award at the ceremony and request any guest tickets. Registration is vital - even if you are unable to attend it is important that you register and tell us so that we can make sure you receive your certificate after the event. Please make sure our record system has the correct email address for you.
You should also make sure you hire your gown in plenty of time as this is your responsibility.
