Celebrate your achievement with BU at our annual awards ceremonies, hosted each November, where you can formally receive your award in the company of friends, family and fellow graduates.
The next BU Awards Ceremonies will take place between Tuesday 4 - Friday 7 November 2014 at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC).
Students eligible to graduate at these ceremonies should note the timetable below:
|All year||BU Assessment Boards take place||Your results letter will confirm if you are eligible to attend the ceremonies, based on the date and decision of the Assessment Board.|
|March||Ceremony dates and times confirmed||You can find details of your school's ceremony date and time on the Awards ceremony dates web page.|
|July - September||Invitations emailed to BU and personal email addresses||Please make sure we have the correct contact details for you and keep an eye on your inbox. You will only receive your invite once you are eligible to attend.|
|July - October||Student Registration||Register online to let us know you are coming and book your guest tickets.
If you are not coming you still need to register so we can arrange for you to receive your certificate
|July - October||Gown Hire with Ede & Ravenscroft||Please arrange your gown hire at least 3 weeks before the ceremony week. You must wear a gown representing your BU award to cross the stage.|
|July - October||Finishing Touches||These are some optional extras to consider for your ceremony... Graduation Ball tickets, Souvenirs, Official Photography, Accommodation.|
|November||Ceremonies take place||Ceremonies last approximately 2.5 hours and vary according to the number of attendees.|
|November onwards||Certificates issued to those who did not attend the ceremony||If you registered to tell us you were not coming your certificate will be sent during the ceremony week, otherwise please complete the request your certificate form.|
