BU is committed to helping anyone with an Additional Learning Need.

If you need any kind of assistance, please make an appointment with the Additional Learning Needs Service.

They are there to support whatever you require and can make the necessary arrangements for you.

If the circumstances require special examination arrangements (e.g. scribe or extra time in examinations) an application should be made on the appropriate form. The case must be properly documented by medical or other evidence and must be submitted to the Additional Learning Needs Advisor as early as possible in the academic year.

The deadlines for doing so are no later than 18 November 2011 for January 2012 exams and 23 March 2012 for May 2012 exams.

Please be aware that it may take up to nine weeks to get the necessary evidence for exam support , so allow plenty of time when applying.
