January Examinations

The January examination dates for the academic year 2011/12 are 09 - 18 January 2012.

Summer Examinations

The summer examination dates for the academic year 2011/12 are 14 - 31 May 2012.

Resit Examinations

The resit examination dates for the academic year 2011/12 are 22 - 31 August 2012.

Overseas Examinations

For resit examinations overseas please go to the Resit Examinations page.

If you need to sit or resit your exams overseas outside the resit exam period you must arrange them with your local office of the British Council or a higher education institution with English speaking staff. Please note that at least 10 days notice is required to perform overseas exams.

Once you have obtained local permission you should contact Avril Cooper with the contact details of the relevant staff: name, postal address, email address and telephone numbers, so that we can confirm the arrangements.

Exam papers will be sent to overseas centres by courier, around a week before your exams are held.

Please note that you are responsible for covering any fees at the overseas centre as well as the fee charged by BU for overseas sit exams of £20.00 per exam. The fee can be paid by completing the payment request form.
