The January examination dates for the academic year 2013/14 are 20 - 31 January 2014. The timetable for these examinations will be available from late November.
The summer examination dates for the academic year 2013/14 are 27 May - 06 June 2014. The timetable for these examinations will be available on the website from late February.
The resit examination dates for the academic year 2013/14 are Friday 15 - Saturday 23 August 2014. Please note that exams could take place on Saturday 23 August. The timetable for these examinations will be available on the website from early August. Please do not arrange holiday during these dates until you are sure that you will not have a resit exam. Citygate Auditorium & Youth Room

Please note: the Citygate Centre is situated next to Dorchester House, opposite Bournemouth train station, the U1 bus stops directly outside the entrance. There is no parking available at the Citygate Centre, but there are pay & display car parks nearby; see the Citygate website for more information. Please do NOT use Halfords or Staples car parks as these are for customers only, there are also time limits & charges for the ASDA car park.
If you are, or feel you may be, entitled to additional learning support for your exams please follow the link for more information. There are deadlines in November and March for applying for exam support.
Your exams will be at the same date and start time as the rest of your cohort but you will be allocated a different room. You will be personally notified of the room for your exam approximately 3 weeks before your exam.
If you need to take your exams overseas you must arrange them with your local office of the British Council or a higher education institution with English speaking staff. Please note that at least 10 days notice is required to perform overseas exams.
Once you have obtained local permission you should contact Avril Cooper with the contact details of the relevant staff: name, postal address, email address and telephone numbers, so that we can confirm the arrangements.
Exam papers will be sent to overseas centres around a week before your exams are held.
Please note that you will be responsible for covering any fees at your exam centre. There is no fee to pay to BU. Any payments must be made prior to sitting any exams.
