We know you have the talent to be a successful student.
But whatever course you are doing, sometimes you might not have all the answers and it would be good to get the help of other students.
The Peer Assisted Learning Scheme (PAL) offers students on most courses the opportunity of supporting each other.
The groups meet under the guidance of trained students, called PAL Leaders, from the year above.
Sessions have an informal and friendly atmosphere.
Students tell us that the sessions help them adjust more quickly to University life and help develop their independent learning and study skills.
Each year students who have taken part in the PAL scheme are recruited to become PAL leaders, who will in turn support the new first year students.
During their training the new leaders will be introduced to many useful resources in the PAL Central community in myBU.
