BU Art Collections
BU has a Permanent Art collection and an annual Art Loan collection. Permanent works are held in UET, 5th floor of Poole House and the Sir Michael Cobham Library, Talbot Campus.
Poole House
The Atrium Art Gallery is based in Poole House on Talbot Campus. The foyer of Poole House is the main focal point hosting the Art Loan collection, as well as further displays in the external grounds and Thomas Hardy Suite and Kimmeridge House.
The Retreat
Rotating displays in The Retreat include 2D and 3D works by members of local Art Groups; alongside various temporary exhibitions during the year.
Sculptures
Internal and external sculptures are either on loan for a year within the annual Art Loan Collection; or are a result of sponsored commissions.
