Orchestra

BU Orchestra offers a great opportunity for suitably experienced instrumentalists to explore the orchestral repertoire through weekly rehearsals and regular concert performances.

Membership is open to students, staff and members of the local community. As a guide, you will need to be of a standard equivalent to grade V if you are a string player and grade VI if you are a wind or brass player.

Working in collaboration with the Bournemouth Youth Orchestra we rehearse for three major concerts each year and our repertoire ranges from the standard symphonic works through to film scores.

Tuesday 7.15pm-9pm in the Student Hall, Talbot House

BU students free, Non students £55. (school / college students enrol with Dorset Music Service)
