Scholarships

Supporting elite athletes is a crucial element of our sports development programming at sportBU.

We are passionate about ensuring our athletes receive the right level of support enabling them to combine their sporting ambitions and academic studies.

We want them to receive quality coaching and support services whilst mentoring their progress through their years at BU.

sportBU has two support programmes for elite athletes:

• BU Sport Scholarship: up to £1000 available
• EXCEL Scholarship: provision of in-kind services

Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS)

Bournemouth University is currently a TASS-accredited institution and TASS scholarships are available.
